The countertops are black concrete with an integrated drain board and sink. Electrical receptacles (GFI’s) are mortised into the window frames.
The glass in this kitchen appears to grow out of the countertops. Post and beam framing was required for structural integrity.

If the glass in this kitchen did not reflect light you wouldn’t know it was there at all – and that was exactly the effect we were trying to achieve. Look closely and you’ll notice that the GFI’s (outlets) are actually mortised into the window frames. The concrete countertops feature an integrated concrete sink and drainboard. Base cabinets are natural finish Maple; cabinet/refrigerator wall is bookmatched cherry.
