Capitol Hill
The owners of this home were serious about maintaining the original look and feel of their home. Working with Forma Design on U Street, we were able to create a light contemporary space that is true to the character of the house.

This southeast view over Rock Creek was obscured by a mudroom and greenhouse. Local architect Jim Martin’s design transforms the space and takes full advantage of the stunning view.

Kalorama
This townhouse had a list of problems familiar to most DC homeowners : a tiny kitchen, no light, no closets, tiny backyard, inadequate heat, and an ancient bathroom. Michael Raye, the architect, addressed all of these problems with a very elegant design.
